Nothing beats fresh fruit, vegetables and fish for providing a host of benefits, including vitamins and minerals but also antioxidants which essentially helps you stop rusting.
But it doesn't stop with the buzzwords that we know and can put in pills. There are also phytochemicals which means other good stuff in plants that we might not need but which is useful. And there is more. Look at it this way, we have catalogued and labeled plenty of good things from nature, but that doesn't mean we understand all of it. Just keep it fresh and you'll be better off baby.
Good better best: A fresh orange is better than an frozen orange (but not by much, surprisingly, though please thaw it before putting your teeth in!). A frozen orange is better than orange juice and orange juice is better than a dried orange or pieces of orange in yoghurt.
